Bagalut - coarse

Icelandic, often clumped balls, Siamese stones... and even three together.
Often found in Líparíti are harder than that and become loose.
If there are three of them together, in earlier years they were called blood stem stones and had healing powers. Midwives and pregnant women wore them to reduce bleeding during childbirth.
